By now everyone must have read or heard the news..that foot bridge built for CWG games has collapsed..
26 workers have been injured....
I just happend to see the live circus on one of the TV channels...
It is really shameful...our leaders and government reps are using words like we can do Zugad, prayers now....
So far there were news about stray dogs sleeping over the beds in the rooms for players...
broken windows, doors can not be locked etc..
some are pretty serious like electrical outlets near water boiler..
but the collapse of the bridge is the worst ever thing that could happen...
who designs this stuff?
of course...The great PWD..Public Works Department...
They are still not accepting the failure..they are saying it is still a small incident...
Are they waiting for 100 international citizens to get killed to call it a big incident?
Those guys have no shame at all....
Is this how an upcoming super power organizes the international games?
CWG is a very big event..India has done a lot of hard work to bring this event in India..
and now few days left..and we are not prepared...not even close...
This is a CRISIS situation...
Government of India...
Please please please...wake up and accept the failure first...
then get into the damage control mode...and fix the infrastrcutre...
Save the pride (anything remaining?) of our country....
My prayers to god....to help our government...
