Tu tar nande ya balakala - By Akshata Veera Chaubal.

Tu Taar Nanade yaa Baalkaala (By Akshata Veera Chaubal in her own words)

My experience still brings goose bumps each time I remember it. It was a nice Friday morning (31st December, 2010). Me and my husband planned to visit my niece in hospital, as she was unwell. Just before leaving, I started experiencing severe cramps in my stomach. My husband advised me to stay at home. But the pain subsided after some time and we decided to go. After reaching the hospital the pains had again reappeared with increased intensity. I started getting the urge to vomit very strongly. But vomiting had left me feeling completely weak and drained out. The pain still had not stopped by then.

We immediately decided to go to our local physician. The journey from the hospital to the physician was a total nightmare. I was lying down the entire journey.
The physician advised us to consult a gynecologist as he sensed some female health related issues. In the mean time he suggested a diet of lemon water and light food. So I had some lemon water and some chocolate for energy. But this caused immediate motions. By now I was so weak that I almost collapsed in my bathroom.

My husband by now had realized that the problem was much serious than it appeared. He called up Swapnilsinha and explained my condition to him. Swapnilsinha promised to communicate our situation to parampujya Suchitdada. He called back with the message that Dada had recommended to admit me at the gynecologist’s hospital in khar west.
My husband then called up the gynecologist to inform him about my condition. He advised us that we should come to his hospital in khar west or go to a nearby hospital. However my husband decided to follow P.P. Suchit Dada’s instructions. Later on we realized why it is always stressed that always follow your Sadguru’s orders.

The hospital was situated on first floor. But the weakness was so intense that I had to take three halts to reach the hospital room. As soon as I reached the hospital room, I collapsed on the bed with extreme exhaustion. The nurses there immediately put me on saline. The doctor’s examined me and his diagnosis was gastro attack. He recommended a complete fasting of food and water. I was to only remain on saline, until my recovery. I recovered by the third day i.e. 3rdJanuary, 2011.

As a final precaution the gynecologist decided to do my sonography. This was just an additional precaution to ensure that my recovery was complete. The doctor was expecting positive report. That’s when an unexpected situation had arisen. He noticed a huge quantity of unexplained fluid in my stomach. He had a hunch regarding the fluid. He decided to do a special kind of pregnancy test. I and my husband were told to go back to my room. After some time, my husband was called back by the doctor. He explained that the test was positive and I was pregnant!!! But my pregnancy was ectopic by nature. This meant that the baby was growing inside the stomach tube, instead of the uterus. It could be extremely fatal for the mother as well as the baby. Also my hemoglobin levels had dropped down to 4.5. I needed urgent blood transfusion. He recommended immediate operation. On hearing this, my husband lost his bearings. He called up Swapnilsinha about the new situation. P.P. Suchitdada called back and told my husband not to worry. He and P.P. Nandaai would be visiting us in the hospital. This shows that a true Sadguru always responds to his devotees cries!!!

Instantly there was this emergency flurry in my room. I remember nurses coming in to get me ready for the operation. Even through this entire scene, I was feeling an extreme sense of calm. My Sadguru was providing me the strength I needed to go through this. During this time Dr Paurasinha also visited us to provide his support. However just before the operation, I started feeling uneasy. Slowly I felt myself slipping into unconsciousness. That’s when my mother announced that P.P. Nandaai had come to meet me. Through the haze I saw Aai walking towards me. Her comforting presence immediately started reducing the queasy feeling. I was feeling too weak to utter any words.

Aai sat down beside and took my hand in hers. She told me and others in the room, to start chanting hanuman chalisa. On hearing this I got worried, because I was feeling too weak to recite chalisa. Aai immediately understood my thought. She told me to do it mentally. I tried to chant it aloud in the beginning. But the exhaustion proved too much and then I recited remaining of it mentally. While chanting, Aai would occasionally caress my face or touch my hand. When it got over Aai instructed that I be taken to the operation theatre immediately. Dr Paurussinha was also present during the entire operation.

The operation went on successfully. The doctor told us that since my hemoglobin levels were extremely low, I needed immediate blood transfusion. P.P. Suchitdada helped us to get the required blood through Dr JayeshSinh Shah. P.P. Nandaai and P.P. Suchit dada left only after making sure I was out of danger. After the operation, I was given the required blood transfusion of four packs. Later on I came to know how closely I had come to escaping the clutches of death. P.P. Nandaai remarked to my family that I had just touched the gates of heaven and came back. Instantly the words from Gurucharitra came back flooding to me. “Kaalmrutyu naa Baadhe, Apmrutyu Kaay kari ?”. Our Sadguru can do anything for the sake of his devotee.

With Bapu-Aai-Dada’s blessings and apt medical treatment I started regaining my health back. I got discharged on the third day of the operation. Even the hospital staff was surprised by seeing my recovery. Little do they know our Sadguru’s motto “ Tu and mi milun ashakya ase hya jagat kahi nahin.”

My pranaams at Bapu-Aai- Dada’s feet, for giving me third chance at life. First when I entered this world, second when they entered my life and third to bring me back from the clutches of death. Hari Om.
